Free Food & Spiritual Discussion/Dancing

6:00pm – 8:30pm

3748 Watseka Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90034

Open to all, every Thursday the Bhakti House hosts free enlightening spiritual discussions on Krishna Consciousness, followed by dancing & singing to live music, then dinner. They teach the importance of learning, and the quest for spiritual truth. By reading the stories of the Bhagavad Gita they hope to inspire people to make the necessary changes in their lives to manifest pure bliss. At the end you’ll mingle over a free veg*n meal with juice called Prasadam, which is food that’s first been offered to Krishna with love and devotion. Please arrive by 6p and stay until you’ve finished eating. Donations appreciated, but no one turned away for lack of funds. Donations go toward operating costs, and your donations make the difference between them struggling versus them being on the forefront leading the way!

6:00p-7:30p Enlightening discussions
7:30p-8:00p Dancing & singing to live music
8:00p-8:30p Prasadam (Free Food*)

* Food will be all-you-can-eat, served to you cafeteria-style until it runs out, please do not self-serve. All food will be sattvic, which means among other things, free of meat, fowl, seafood, eggs, alcohol, the allium plant genus (garlic, onions) and the fungi kingdom (mushrooms), but the minority of items may contain dairy and honey. Food & drink will be unlabeled so to confirm an item’s veganess specifically ask the hosts which items contain no dairy & honey, they’ll be happy to confirm.

Free street parking. More info here.
