Keeping in line with my goal to avoid overly processed foods (and also my love of cooking!) I love to make my own veggie burgers. I've tried many recipes and these masala veggie burgers are by far my favorite because of the delicious spice combination and also the balance of nutrients.
Avocados surely must be one of the most amazing foods. Not only are they creamy and delicious, avocados provide many health benefits.
This is a new healthier twist on the classic "loaded baked potato" and has become one of my favorite nutrient-dense comfort foods.
My friend brought over the ingredients to make this a while back. I was nervous about the habanero peppers being too spicy but it really does give it the kick it needs.
Soup is one of my favorite meals for many reasons. For one, soup is usually fairly simple to prepare but the finish product is so comforting and delicious! This soup would be great for the cooler months and I can imagine I'll be making it very often around halloween time due to the warmth of the spices and of course the festive color.
This meal was inspired by a recipe I found on one of my favorite vegetarian sources Thug Kitchen. If you haven't experienced that website yet I suggest you take a look. It's nothing short of amazing.
